Gyrfalcon's Clan

FIRST AGE
a normal lair, situated on the Starwood Strand of the Arcane territory. a large tree is in the centre for the faes to perch on.

SECOND AGE

the lair had rather expanded into a few towns, (Gashriave, Connal and Friham.) for the year 643 GA. the town is split up by social class.
Petal is the ultimate ruler, her being the first generation. everyone appeals to her and she gets the final say. she lives in the royal palace.
the royal family being, King Silversun and Queen Cardani, Princess Eughitoriana, her younger twins: Rohirrim Skycloud. they govern the whole territory from their extremely large palace.
the ladies and lords govern each town and the surrounding farmland. Lord Starwind and Lady Flightstone, and prince Shar rule Gashriave,
Lord Aviri and Lady Thistle rule Connal
Lord Wingspine and lady Reine, rule Friham.
duchess Rose and Flightstone live in a chateau near the border of Gashrivve and Connal.
after there are the knights who protect the king. they include:

pealcatchers and imperials are always keepers of knowledge, or "keepers," each with their own pool. they offer answers to those who seek them out. due to tradition they may not become royalty, but are looked upon with extreme respect.
all impearial dragons decended from Fleetfoot or Aquadream are named on their third day after a trait that they carry.
the lords and ladies live in large stone towers and govern their kingdom.

the 25th of vanil's day: the clan has split into three. there were too many dragons in the original lair. each town is ruled by a lord and lady who are in turn ruled by a king and queen.
the 4th of orgshah: the princess, Eughatoriana of the territory is born!
the 6th of orgash: Raptor is outlawed for suspected treason.
the 10th of orgash: Eughtioriana's half siblings are born. they live in the palace with her.
the 15th of orgash: Lastborn and Shar are born, unknown to Shar Skycloud sneaks Lastborn to safety.
the 21th of orgash: river, coralstone, myst and desertrose are born.
the 25th of orgash: the palace, of connal is raided by invaders, they burn half the castle and steal the food. the local guard fight them off, but myst is kidnapped. the invaders are rumoured to be the newly established beast clans.
the 45th of orgash: word comes that myst escaped. she fled to the forest of connal and is living there. her parents sent word to her but she refused to come back. she was scarred and petrified by the ordeal. now the forest is known as Myst's Forest, she still guards it there.
the 1st if bark: word is sent to the main palace that connal is without food, supply wagons should arrive by the next two weeks. defences are raised in all the kingdoms against intruders, including a wall and towers.
the keepers refuse to shelter there. they stay in their glens.
the 5th of bark: food has not arrived yet and Petal is worried. what will Connal do with food? some of the commeners have come, complaining about the food reduction and and some have become ill. she tried to help them the best she could.
the 7th of bark: the beast clans were spotted on the horizon.
the 10th of bark: the beast clans have now formed a camp close to Friham. they are not hostile yet, but they are plainly preparing for battle.
the 11th of bark: the first blow has come. the food wagons arrived and were attacked. two were taken and the other eight got away. the drivers are being held hostage, for ransom.
the 13th of bark: the beast clans have formed another camp close to the main palace. they also expanded closer to the other cities. they sent out a ransom for the two hostage drivers, shyroth and pearl. they will be freed on the 15th of bark for ten thousand treasure each.
the 14th of bark: beastclans are sighted closer to the city than needed for the ransom. their army is huge!
the 15th of bark: the beast clans meet Petal and her two escorts. they bring the ransom money and Pearl and Shyroth are brought in a cart. once inside the city walls they are tended to immediately. they are exteamly skinny and sick. Petal also sends messengers (Asteria, Gaia, Elathor, Villette) are sent to warn Keepers and bring them to Gashrive.
the 16th of bark: a lone ridgeback dragon by the name of Etura arrives and demands to be let in the castle. she claims to be from a different clan and had heard of the issues and come to help. Petal decided to trust her for she is very skilled with a sword.
the 17th of bark: Petal is sick with worry, the Messengers have yet to return. Pearl and Shyroth are still unwell and the beast clans have began forming battle positions. Petal has Silversun, Sunwing and Aviri gather the peasants and bring them inside the keep. they are currently residing in some caves.
the 18th of bark: the messengers arrive! the keepers are also with them. it is revealed when they are counted that one messengers missing! Elathor was captuered by the beast clans. Petal is torn. there is barley enough money for a ransom but, does she dare leave Elathor with the beast clans? Mercy is scarred out of her wits, she recently had Wisdom and was terrified that he would be hurt. even though he is young, Wisdom is strong growing up in times of turmoil. the dragons are battered and tired. they were ambushed on the way but most made it to safety.
the 19th of bark: all able are sent to battlements, women and men alike. only wisdom, paikea, chinnok, and pixie are in the caves with Asteria and Skycloud who are very talented healers.
there is no sign of a messenger for Elathor's ransom. she will be apparently kept hostage.
the 20th of bark: the battle has begun. at midnight two cannonballs were launched from the beast clans. they have broken through the wall. thankfully the beasts are unable to fly up to the holes. Petal is unable to repair them because it would put workers in the line of fire. the main castle is attacked and so is Gashrive. all peasants are inside city walls in all cities but, for a much greater defence Petal has sent Gaia and Raptor (who was allowed back into the city for a time), to the other cities to tell them to pack up and gather in the main palace. things look bad. there have been no casualties yet, but Sundrift was wounded on guard duty. he is currently uncounches with the healers. a rain of spears and arrows were launched at the beastclans.
21st of bark: in the middle of the night Elathor showed up at the door to the city. Petal was imeadiatly sent for. Elathor was bruised, battered and thin but she insisted on speaking with Petal. she explained how she was caught fleeing with the keepers. the beastclans had tied her to a tree for the night, then marched to the windswept plateau. they had come to a village of caves and houses, and hidden in the shadows. Elathor reconized Winds Rest, Gyrfalcon's friends. she had tried to warn them but was unable. then a young dragon had wandeered too far from the village. he was surrounded by the Beastclans and slain. Elathor had been unable to help even though she had struggled. she hoped that the tracker of there clan would see the imprints of the beastclans left in the grass. from there they were heading back towards Arcane territtory and had to pass through some Plauge territory. it was there that Elathor escaped. one night the party was set upon by a group of Plauge dragons on patrol. All dragons are enemys of the beastclans and in the conflict she cut free her wings and lifted off. the journey to Arcane Territory was not far, but Elathor had no food or water and Plauge territory is unhosbitable. she collaped halfway to Arcane. it was only luck that a lone Tundra mother found her and cared for her for a night before she left mysteriously. Elathor then traveled back to the Kingdom.
the 23rd of bark: the battle rages. the beastclans have broken through and into the gate. the defenders are trying to hold them back on the second teir. war crys sound constatly and the night is ablaze with flaming torches. Acedia was nearly killed in an attack by a spear. that missed the heart. she is being taken care of by the healers and it is stil uncertain. Gaia has also been wounded but lightly, she grazed her wing. she will be fit to fight in one day. the children are terrified, and them and the healers have already had to switch caves, their previouse one being set ablaze. they are all safe. it looks like the clan wont hold out much longer.
the 25th of bark: half the clan is injured nad now you must have somthing as bad as a deep arrow wound to be taken to the healers. the healers are constantly busy and dragons are pouring in. the other half of the clan is fighting with minor wounds, but this is still a major disadvantage. just when the clan was about to collapse on the horizon, outlined in the setting sun, wind rippleing, the clan of Wind's Rest marched towrds the kingdom. help in store the dragons fought with renewed vigor as Wind's Rest attacked from behind. the battle changed abrubtly.
bark 28th: the battle is over! the last three days the dragons overpowered the beastclans ith the help of their Wind Clan friends. Wind's Rest assited in healing the injured afterwards. they also helped repair the wall and will leave in two days. Wind's Rest is surprised by the difference in social structure. the dragons of Gyrfalcon also find it hard to adapt to their customs. Silversun begins to wonder if breed should define class like it does.
the 1st of gath: the dragons of wind's rest return home.
the 3rd of gath: joy fills the clan. just after a great war Maylower, Tranquillity and Geaif are born! the clan hopes they will grow up in a time of peace.
the 5th of gath: it is the time of the palugebringer. the festival has begun. it is known that at this time the plauge sweeps through the lands. only plauge dragons are immune. the clan celebrates inside clossed walls. the keepers agree to stay until the festival is over.
the 9th of gath: sickness has come. the clan just recovered form the attack of the beastclans. it is too dangerouse to ask wind's rest for help incase the sickness preads. the clan of Gyrfalcon must face this on their own! Mercy fell sick first. it has spred to Eughatoriana, Cardani, Acedia, Summerstone, and Blaze. they have been placed under guard and no one is allowed to leave their house. Sliversun is frusturated by how difficult it is to keep the clan together when they are spred appart.
the 14th of gath: Amorra and Barun are born to Starling. she is terrified that they will fall ill.
the 17th of gath: sulphur lamps are burrned in the streets to keep away plauge. the dragons do not leave their houses. food is scarce and difficult to get when most of it is separated in three towns. Amorra and Barun do fall ill. they are very weak and sick. many whispher they will not last the night.
the 18th of gath: Amorra and Barun pass. Starling will not be comforted. the dragons begin to lose hope. will these bleak times ever pass?
the 23rd of gath: the plauge has passed! no more dragons have died and the last of the virus is gone! the dragons rejoice.

THE THIRD AGE

the 24th of gath: Silversun sends messangers to the towns to bring them together in Gashrive.
the 25th of gath: Sliversun has everyone gathered below the castle. he made a proclimation that all the towns are to move back together. much uproar was recived at these words but Sliversun would not change his mind. he said that this was because the clan would prosper much better as one large group. he said that everyone would have five days to move out and meet in gashrive.
the 30th of gath: the clan has moved into one city, that is a maze of tunnels. the clan has compleatly gone back to the origonal order. the only thing that remains is the fact that Petal leads the whoe clan. she spoke out against having a large monarchy and wanted just the first generation leading the clan. some of the dragons in line for the throne will come into power when petal retiers. the new line of monarchy is:

the 1st of daling: what better way to come into the new lair than have children? melody, rhythm, isra, roram, joy and imagination are born!
the lair has expanded and a new tree is at the centre, full of branches hollows for fae dragons, as well as many pools for the keepers. a sprerate cave connected to the main chamber is provided for each breed. mated dragons separate, but still love each other. the lair is large (three storys) with a library, wellspring, hoard, centre tree and the ocean outside. Petal made the right choice and everyone is happy.
the 3rd of daling: Christmas is here! the clan rejoices! everyone draws a name of a clan mate and gives that person a gift, along with any others they may wish to give. a tree is in the corner and all the gifts are around it. this was Wisdom's idea so he gets to be the clan avatar.
the 15th of galing: the celebrations begin! today a preformance of the nativity story takes place at the front of the lair. It was directed by Mayflower so she gets to be the clan avatar. the roles of the play were:

the 20th of galing: Promise earned his name so he gets to be the clan avatar.
the 57th of falith: It's been a while. The lair has been progressing as normal. There have been no new babys, but one is on the way.
the 60th of falith: the beast clans are becoming more and more strong. The clan had been hunting in the arcane territory. The many lairs that used to dot the mountains and rolling hills were empty. a few even had smoke rising from the ruins of a doorway.
the 14th of darun: tis' the season of prosperity! the clan has been blessed with many babies. Integrity and Grace the peal catchers, Gweneth the cotal , Faruel the wild claw, and Elwen the nocturne. hopefully they all grow up strong and happy! the clan held a feast in their honour.
the 60th of falith: Malvina and Neldith are born to the clan
the 61st of falith: Raptors story is revealed.
