dragon of wind
unleashed on an endless void,
roaring like the devil possessed,
tail lashing
trees, clawing clouds,
vengeance blowing the valley apart,
thawing water, freezing huddled creatures,
throwing birds from quaking trees,
sending them tumbling in to the turbulent night.

Rearing up,
roaring, reaching a climax,
spouting unseen flame,
stabbed by force, gallopping back,
lifts his head and howls,
the pitiful sound touching all malevolent spirits,
eery howling, relentless weeping,
icicle tears falling on a gaping wound,
stinging, raw, red and bleeding,
bleeding across the heavens,
broken clouds crashing together, creating lightning,
dry bodied dragon dying,
peaceful wind, dead body on the sky,
blood mending broken cloud,
one last sad sigh,
still.
