Envelin's Clan

"No matter what we are, we are an eternal family."

Long ago, a clan had consisted of only a handful of dragons. 8 to be exact. Itasi, Rhonis, Taniath, Benneth, Queen Lassitan, and her mate who had went for so long not knowing his name.

Queen Lassitan was the leader of the small clan, foraging through the Zephyr Steps without a care in the world. Many who live now say she was a cruel and unfit leader. Her mate was but a slave to her as were the four dragons who she had ruled. Together, the four had banded together, forcing the queen away through a vicious duel. She was never to be seen again and her mate, who had felt his freedom, left never to be heard from the clan again.

Taniath was the dragon to step up, taking her role as the new matriarch of the lair. She was kind. She was gentle. Her mate, Benneth and her stood tall over the small clan they had, only later to be joined by two more pairs...LadyBeryl and Viola...and Fuari and Kichir and a pair of imperials who's names have long since been forgotten...They seemed unstoppable until one day, they had lost their way in their travels for a new lair, as their old one had crumbled over the years. The Twisting Crescendo had grasped the dragons. Luckily, they were able to stay together...all except for the two imperials who disappeared forever into the storm...never to be seen from again. The guilt from losing the imperials destroyed Taniath and they ventured further, leaving the Windswept Plateau to enter The Southern Icefield. Guilt continued to haunt Taniath and she decided to make a final decision and step down her role as leader. This role was given to a new member of the clan, Riva, who was but a humble ice fae who was just getting the ropes of leadership.

With Riva as leader, she envisioned a clan where scribes would be the leaders and gathered her representatives. She had gathered faes that represented each element. All was well...until the scribes fell into bitter disagreements and apathy towards one another. With hesitation, she would take her final demand as leader and leave Eternal Serenity, leaving only a few representatives behind to lead the clan.

Only Sythalen, the representative of the plague flight and Verastophilis, the representative of the wind flight remained. Verastophilis needed to take action. He and Sythalen would not be able to lead the clan forever. Quickly, he had found a young tundra, taking him under his wing and to Eternal Serenity where he would later give the role of leadership to him.
