The clan was first created by matriarch Trixie along with her mate Tailchaser. After having their children, Nova and Felix, Tailchaser left to go fight for Windsinger. After this event, Trixie got a new mate named Isaac. Nova and Felix gained mates as well and the clan grew. As time passed and the clan grew, many members of the clan began to leave to join Tailchaser.

After a while, a special child was born to a Fae that had joined the clan sometime earlier named Serenade. The child was named Lullaby and she became the clan's treasured princess. With Lullaby's birth, changes began to happen within the clan. Fae of other elemental flights began to integrate into the clan and soon talk of settling down began. The arrival of two members, a brother and sister, from the Nature flight began to spread their nurturing ways and even though they were of the Wind flight, the behavior of the Nature flight began to take hold. This; however, did not hold true with the clans founding members. They saw the changes that were beginning to spread and determined that their time had come. An elemental shift was about to occur. They decided that they needed to leave the clan to allow it to flourish in its own way. To that end, Matriarch Trixie passed down leadership to the beloved princess Lullaby. Once the change in leadership was completed, Trixie, Isaac, Nova, Felix, and the remaining original members left to join Tailchaser and the other exalted clan members. Although she had gained a new mate in Isaac, Trixie never forgot her first love, reuniting finally with him under Tailchaser.

This left princess Lullaby in leadership of the clan. She had no experience as a leader, but she had her mother Serenade along with a few older members of the clan to help her along. Unlike Trixie, Lullaby did not take the title of Matriarch. She instead dissolved the line of succession that had previously been established. Though it was not her official title, other members of the clan still referred to her as "princess" and followed her out of love. Rather than inheriting the position like it would have happened with Nova or Felix, who were the first and second in line in the original clan, each new leader of the clan would be chosen by the previous ruler based on who they were, not to whom they were born, just as Lullaby had been. Lullaby was not of royal birth. She was born between members that were not related to the royal family.

Although they spread nurturing ways, the brother and sister of the Nature flight were still young. Their innocence and personalities cause them to become fast friends with princess Lullaby. Having friends who were younger was a great help to Lullaby, who though an adult, was still young and inexperienced in leading.

Along with the newly arrived Nature flight twins, most of the clan that remained was comprised of hatchlings with just Lullaby's immediate family and a few other adults to help care for them. AS the hatchlings grew into adulthood, the previous generation began to feel the call of the wind. Even though they were now part of a Nature flight clan and adopted the nurturing tendencies of the Nature twins, they still longed for the freedom to go wherever the wind took them. Having helped raise the hatchlings into adulthood, many of the remaining Wind dragons decided that they desired to return to the wind and that the newly established clan was stable enough to survive without them. Most of the Wind flight hatchlings that had just reached adulthood had grown up hearing stories about what the flight used to be like and chose to leave with the previous generation adults. The decisions of these dragons left very few Wind dragons remaining in the clan. Princess Lullaby, being a Wind dragon herself, felt the loss of most of her friends and family. If it were not for here new friends that she had gained during the formation of the new clan, it is unlikely that she would have the strength required to lead.

The clan, being comprised mostly of Fae, has always been vulnerable to larger predators, even more so now that they stay in one place to nurture their young along with the plants and animals around them. To protect themselves from predators, larger dragon species were adopted into the clan. Three dragons made up this defensive force and became friends with bonds as strong as any family. They were a Nocturne named Trude, a Guardian named Anise, and a Spiral named Shanti.

Before the three clan guardians had reached adulthood, it was Lullaby, her elder sister Seabreeze, her mother Serenade that defended the clan. The three of them defended the clan in what limited capacity they could, but they were not very strong and Lullaby's kindness made the duty particularly hard for her to carry out.
