S T O R Y

As you make your way down the path, nervous about what's to come, you meet a dragon laying in the mud?... He opens his eyes, sees you, and goes back to sunbathing. You think about how comfortable he must be and continue only to find a dragon bright as ever. Good thing you brought your sunglasses... You brought them right?

As you reach the end of the path you find a castle. It's not the biggest castle you've seen compared to the Shadow and Arcane, but also not as small as Earth so you decide to think nothing of it. You enter and find an artist? You find yourself wondering what importance an artist has in a dragon's castle.

The artist spots you and starts brushing themself off, you can see ink splatters everywhere. Maybe a writer? No.. Wait.. Maybe?

They approach you and tell you to call them Mad and can use he/him pronouns. He figures you're wondering why an artist is hanging out in a dragon castle, he tells you that he saw the castle one day and decided to walk in and the dragons loved him so much they wouldn't let him leave. Or was it the other way around...
Again, you put that off to save the writer from having to come up with reasons for everything.

He sits you down and asks if you want anything to eat, you could go for a cinnamon roll right about now... Maybe some tea too. Matcha. Make it iced.

The two of you sit and talk for a while, he tells you how he loves new people and always tries to make friends when he can. He also brings up the question of what made you come here. You think about it for a while, then remember how you found this place. How long has it been again? Wow, time flies doesn't it?

You notice a section of the room is filled to the ceiling with books. You decide to ask it what it reads.
His eyes light up! He sat up straighter in His seat and began to list off all the amazing book series. You were so caught up in watching him as he talked about the things he's passionate about that you could only catch a few names. Wings of Fire, something about a Terraria book, and a book name you've never heard of.
You ask them about the last one, he tells you that one's a secret project he's working on himself. Maybe he wants to write his own stories and publish them one day?

You guys talk some more, and he decides to ask about you. How has your day been? He offers more food and drink, making sure you're well fed and comfortable. Then he gestures for you to come with him. You ask where to? You were just getting comfortable...
He tells you that you're going to go on a walk, he wants to make sure your legs don't cramp up and you get plenty of exercise. You hesitantly get up and go after him.

As you're walking with him, you realize you needed that and nature is quite pretty when it's a good day out. Maybe you should do this more often..

While on the walk, you ask him what all he does living in the castle. He tells you that he's an aspiring writer and artist. He wants to one day make stories that people around the world will read! And that this story is all just practice and to set things up for later lore. You ask them about the art that he makes. His eyes light up again and he starts rambling about his passion once more.
He tells you that they want to make comics along with novels so he has made an art style that is easy to draw pretty fast, all while looking really cool. He hopes to show it to the other clans out there, and maybe he can start to make a profit off it.
What a cool concept! You wish him luck on his journey and he thanks you.

You were so caught up in listening to it talk about his dreams that you hadn't realized that you arrived back at the castle. He thanks you for your company and offers you a room to rest in for the night, it's been a long day and you are getting pretty tired.
You accept and thank him once more before you head off to sleep for the night.

In the soon to come morning you'll head off to visit the neighboring lighting clan next... Until next time.
