"This is partially an Exalt lair. We have some dragons who are born, or whom will be born, purely to become future soldiers that serve the Plaguebringer. Of course, Aegritus doesn't approve of this, but it's for the good of our Dragonkind to keep the Beastclans at bay.

Despite these dark tasks, most that come to the Den will remain here. We are a familial group, opening our arms also to those who are in need. Many of them still have their stories to tell, but in the end, we will remain together, no matter what our pasts, or futures.

We especially love orphans... which may seem strange, but it's only something in my own scaly heart here. There's never anything wrong with adopting another one in, as we have plenty of food and room; one dragon more who can merely have a place to call Home, and we're always willing to give that kind of simple happiness!

Our mated pairs have occasional hatchlings and younger dragon members of the newer generation who are sent out to find a place for themselves, as well. We can only hope that some small few of them can find a good family, in a Den of their very own, but if they end up serving our great Plaguebringer instead, well... it will be respected, as it is an honorable position to protect our lands, and we will remember them fondly for the time that they were with us." - Emerald
