Dear Admins: I am friends with Birdskull. We share the same IP address sometimes. Please do not be alarmed. We really are two completely separate people. I promise.



While many clans live life in order, with distinct leaders, purposes, and themes, this clan is as random as the colors in a gumball machine. There can be chaos in the lair, having no official leader, but they get along well enough and are quick to welcome others into their lair.

They call themselves clan Ennon.

The name is derived from several Japanese Kanji meaning to take refuge or shelter, escape, conceal or hide. And that is precisely what this clan is for. It's a refuge, a safe place for the "odds and ends" dragons of the world as well as those looking to start anew. They proudly display their clan’s standard, a Phoenix, reminding all that it’s never too late to rise from the ashes of your past and begin again.

Overall, the clan members live happy, peaceful lives in a cave on the outskirts of The Fortress of Ends. At least they did until the fateful day when one of Nightrain’s pranks went wrong. No one quite knows what he was trying to accomplish, but me managed to create a small fissure surrounding their cave. The clan intended to repair the damage and insure that the fissure wouldn’t cause any long-term problems, particularly as the weather warmed up, however winter blizzards prevented them from making much progress.

On the last day of the Crystalline Gala, as everyone was turning in for the night, a new winter storm blew in. The force of the storm was greater than most of the clan had ever experienced causing them all to take shelter inside the cave. As darkness fell and the storm grew worse, loud cracking noises were heard. As the most experienced warriors of the clan, Flower, Yuzu, and Bacon set out to investigate the cause of the noise. As they looked out from the entrance of the cave, they soon discovered that the storm’s force weakened the fissure until the remainder of the ice holding their section onto the rest of the Southern Icefields had disconnected, sending the clan out into the mercy of the storm on a small island of an iceberg. Unable to do anything in the storm other than hold on and hope no one got injured, the clan waited out the storm.

Once the storm finally cleared up, the clan found themselves in the middle of the ocean, with no indication of where they were. Heated arguments followed the longer time passed and many of the dragons left to find land, never to be seen of again by the dragons of clan Ennon. The rest of the clan remained on the iceberg, hoping their supplies would last until they could find land. The longer they floated along, lost in the ocean, however, the more ice melted off of their little island, causing much fear amongst the dragons.

One morning, as Yuzu ventured out of the cave to consider the clan’s options, he spotted something in the distance. Land. By mid-morning, they had floated into the northern territory of the Viridian Labyrinth. They worked hard that day evacuating their cave and setting up a makeshift camp and finished with little time to spare, for soon their little iceberg had completely melted away. All were relieved to be back on dry, stable land, though none more so than Excrescence. Now stranded in a climate and territory foreign to all but Daichi, clan Ennon has found a new place to call home. At least until they can figure out how to return to the Southern Icefields.
