Chiaroscura's Clan

An ancient library sits on the edge of the Hewn City, pale, smooth marble walls studded with small outcroppings of glimmering crystal. Massive jewels adorn the arching doorways and dark stained-glass windows, pulsing with soft light. The building's glow casts long shadows onto the dim landscape of the city.

Inside the Library of the Hewn City lies room upon room of scrolls, artefacts, and books, containing long-forgotten secrets and newly discovered knowledge. Its halls twist and turn in unexpected directions, and it's common knowledge that it's strangest corners have yet to be discovered by most. The library is filled with all manner of scholars, as well as a few who are decidedly less academically-mided. Any who enter its cavernous halls are bound to discover something they never could have imagined before, be it something that inspires awe or something more sinister.
