A flock of avian dragons warm themselves on the Sundial Terrace, rumors of them being a migrating group from the Lightning Flight drifting through the sun-warmed air. Light-born dragons mill about with their gazes trained on the new arrivals.
Borduke, the smallest but the eldest, raises his palms to his temples. "No questions," he says, his voice oddly monotone. "Lightweaver has called my colony here, so here we will stay."
His co-leader nods. "We make a home here in the rim of the Terrace,"
Inya announces to the rest of the group. The avian-dragons lift their wings and descend to a network of small nesting sites carved into the edge of the Terrace.
