Clan of the Harbor Harpers

The Harpers are a tightly-knit group spread across the realms of Sornieth. The Harpers dedicate their lives to a craft, whether it be storytelling, musical performance, displays of physical prowess, theatrical performances, artistic craftsmanship, or magical exhibitions. A member’s dedicated craft can be easily identified by any metals or jewelry adorned: bronze and emerald for those of the written arts, pearls or opals for those of the musical arts, gold and ruby for those in the performative arts, onyx and darksteel for those in the physical arts, copper and citrine for those in the material arts, and silver and diamond for those in the magical arts.

The Harbor Harpers are but one clan roaming the Sea of a Thousand currents. Drifting wherever the currents may take them, the Harbor Harpers use their crafts to explore and interpret the mysteries and histories of Sornieth. Even if some may not see the implications of a story, battle, or clothwork, the Harbor Harpers embed meaning into their crafts and share them across the Sea. Though some may see the Harbor Harpers as simple artistic nomads, those with an understanding of prophecy are able to see the hidden messages in their works. A common saying is that one may only be given a piece to a puzzle, but a puzzle can’t be completed without each piece. So the Harbor Harpers share their craft across the Sea in an effort to complete a whole picture of the future unfolded to them.
