At the border between the Tangled Wood and the Sea of A Thousand Currents, a river runs through the dark lands and into the beach, emptying into the ocean. The area around the river is constantly covered in a thick, dark fog; a byproduct of Shadow magic melding with Water magic. No average creature, dragon or not, can see through the haze, making an unassisted journey through this area extremely dangerous.
Within the fog lives a special family of dragons who has mastered a magic that allows them to pierce through and traverse it with ease. This Guide Magic has been passed down through the Riverguide family for generations.
