Long days of wondering, that's what started it all. Forgetting where he was from Arnold wondered to a place of light and decided to stay. There he was joined by a local there of same heritage. Glad to have a friend he agreed stay with her, next thing he knew there was more that joined. Arnold took them all in promising that if they would stick around, they were family.

The clan as a whole is pacifist at its core, but believes in self defense. Opinions vary on what this means from dragon to dragon but those that stay for a permanent home either believe that way of life or grow to want to protect that kind of life.
