The Crystalline Empire

Within Dragonhome resides a clan of momentous size, scattered out in a system of caves and crevices dug into the northern face of the cliff, from which the glorious Pillar of the World can be seen from each of the individual cave's entrance. Oftentimes, many of the clan's members can be seen gazing upon it fondly in the morning light, and at every dusk, like clockwork, the great Empress of the clan will emerge to mourn and admire the great monument, sharing the same thoughts as the great Earthshaker, too wishing that the world would reunite just as he wished for his brothers and sisters to coexist and get along happily again. For this, she doesn't approve of exaltation among the clan to fuel the perpetual turmoil of dominance, though if one dragon wishes to serve the great deity, she doesn't deny them the honor; however, it is never her, nor the clan's choice, only the dragon's alone.

It is for these reasons the Empress found it fit to reside here, making the move to Dragonhome with the stars as her guide. With the largest of the clan carrying the flightless Snappers upon their back, they made their way home.

Every so often, especially during sacred times such as Rockbreaker's Ceremony, the endless dreary landscape will be speckled with color as the entirety of the clan itself will be gathered near the base of the pillar, admiring and mourning the what this great spectacle meant and the heavy loss it held.
