To the creatures of all sorts whom find themselves currently visiting the nest:

Feel free to pause and rest here among the shaded and tangled trees for some time, Wanderer, and visit with the dragons of this part of the forest as you do. This poorly lit corner of the forest resides in a cool and placid place in the woods, shaded from the garish light of day. It is known to be home to many a sedentary dragon but also several dragons more apt to wander in and out from time to time as well, including the dashing rapscallion Redbeard, the fierce and brave Solanae, and the regrettably ill-mannered Smaug. Many may appear to look as if part of the forest to which they belong, the Erabers are in fact truly diverse bunch. Though for the most part, this band of woodland dragons will not bite but instead make themselves quite welcoming companions. Of course... a word to the wise--keep one eye on your trinkets and do try to remember to never tickle the sleeping dragons.

Fun Facts! :D

~ The original inspiration for my lair was drawn from some of my favorite stories/works: The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, and others.

~ My love (read obsession) for the Harry Potter universe knows no bounds. I'm a lifelong Ravenclaw and am coming to recognize my apparent newfound Thunderbird-ness as well. I'm always happy to talk HP with fellow nerds of all sorts!

~ My current goal is to slowly convert my lair to unbred, fully gened g1s, with the exception of my long-standing perma-dergs and my breeding pairs. I tend to look for more light and "woodsy" dragons for this despite my love for Shadow.

~ I also keep a few fan dragons on the side for my favorite characters and their stories. Some of the ones I currently home include The Black Widow as well as Hawkeye from the Marvel comics, Rowena my Harry Potter dragon, and--technicaly--Smaug from The Hobbit as well.

~ My first dragons were Jasper, who has since been scatterscrolled, and Jade, a rather unfortunately colored banana mirror thing.

~ My favorite dragons from fiction are Smaug from The Hobbit and Saphira from Eragon.
