I recommend snooping around the forums to figure it out, that's how most people do :)
Most accent artist do that! They set in a preorder for a number of slots usually around 400-500 gems each depending on the number of slots, then interested people send in the gems, the artist buys a blueprint and submits the accent/skin!
Aren't you taking the gems up ahead to print the skin? It's the way most accent artist I know are doing, I'm sure your accent would have enough sucess so that your accent can pretty much self print itself and you can still make some gem profit off it!
