The outskirts of the Highland Scrubs were once no place for a Dragon to make a Clan.
That changed on the day the Guardian dragon Gojira journeyed there on her Search.
At first, it seemed she would pass it over as she had so many other territories, but then the Guardian discovered a Mirror Dragon all but dead from dehydration and being assaulted by a pack of wild scavengers. Rather than let its fellow dragon die, Gojira intervened, driving the scavengers away and guiding the Mirror Dragon safely to the water he so desperately needed.
After a few days of nursing the Mirror Dragon back to health, Gojira found herself surprisingly unwilling to leave, even as the Mirror Dragon eventually left. With time, she came to realize it was because her Search had ended: the desert Highland, and all the Dragons who struggle to survive there...that would be her Charge, and she would honor it.
Some time after Gojira carved out her lair, the Mirror Dragon she had aided returned, and the two became Mates. They, their family, and the dragons who choose to repay Gojira's protection thus form a Clan of their own.
