CLAN AURIGA

a small clan located south of the behemoth, where the gladeveins reach the sea

The path leading into Auriga is well worn. Cobblestones have sunk under the weight of a thousand feet, and weeds are springing up in between the cracks. There are only a few roads like this- paved, well lit, the trees pushed back to clear room- in and out of the clan. The rest are winding forest tracks, barely distinguishable from the surrounding foliage.

Signposts let you know when you're getting close, reminding you that it is strictly forbidden to be in dragon form within 800m of Auriga's center. (What most travelers don't know, however, is that within 500m it's literally impossible due to some clever earth-magic by the local sorcerer. Any invading dragons would simply drop out of the air before they could launch an attack.)

The clan itself is small- one large clearing with only 4 or 5 buildings around the edges. They hold council here, you know, but you don't think most of the clan's members actually live here. Only the hatchlings, and maybe a few officials. As far as you can tell, everyone else has made their homes deeper among the trees.
