i'm here to have a good time and write silly little dragon stories with my friends.

Glistening Shards is a clan forged between comrades. Initially, a fusion clan between Light and Fire, it has since grown far beyond that scope, and now incorporates many different flights within itself. The clan was founded by the progenitors Topaz and Tourmaline, two light dragons who were left wandering the lands after a blight came upon their fields, and left them, and their clutch of eggs to starve. Desperate for any kind of shelter for their eggs, they wandered for months, until stumbling upon a far out lair of three young fire dragons. They gladly accepted them into their home, and have been an integrated part of the clan ever since.

Since then, the clan has grown. As Topaz's eggs hatched, new dragons began to find their way to the small clan they had all set up. As their numbers grew, so did the sense of community they shared with one another. Birthdays turned from celebrations to festivals, and holidays were observed with the utmost importance. Glistening Shards prides themselves on their sense of community and compassion towards their members, always willing to catch another when they fall.

To members outside of Glistening Shards, the clan is known mostly for it's own spin on festivals, their hospitable attitudes, and their high end glasswork. In the realms of trade, the glasswork is their highest export, alongside peppers, grapes, and specialized radio technology. The Clan, overall, is very accepting to outsiders, although they are wary of ones who come only upon hearing of their rather "loose" governmental system.
