Prologue: Singing stone

A stone hurtled through space, the last surviving remnant of a world that had been shattered by the void. Fortune guided the stone to a new world, one that had not succumbed to the Shade's hunger, at least not yet. The world of Sornieth, distracted by its ongoing elemental upheaval, did not take notice of the stone's arrival. In truth, the stone was too small and broken to make a difference in the dragons’ fight for dominance. The power of its fragments would only be noticed by a small clan in the Starwood Strand. This is their story.
