Era and Thane were both in rival clans, torn apart by both internal chaos and bitter warfare. When these clans fell apart, they met with harsh beginnings, blaming each other for the death of many clan-mates. However, these dragons were both used to the support of a clan. Without this, they were helpless. Though reluctantly, both agreed to work together to survive the wilds. They made their residence in the Zephyr Steppes. Many rogue dragons resided there, and though they weren't willing to help very much at first, they didn't deny Thane and Era's offer for food and shelter. Though Thane and Era still don't realize this, they just created a clan.
