THE AETHYRIUM



Mid-way up one of The countless peaks of crystalline stone, jutting out from the ocean, are platforms, and holes cut into the crystal, sealed by strange metal doors. Staircases, and windows. A bridge of magic and metal, leading to another, smaller peak with staircases carved into it, with more holes with the metal doors. This place, deep within the mountain, is where the _____ Clan resides. Carved into the massive mountains, Living among many other clans.

These dragons gathered here, for community -- One formed around bonds, hospitality, yes, but also mainly the pursuit of science, magic, truth and technology. A home for scholars and scientists, mages and artists -- A place for those who do not quite fit in, where no matter your past, you are accepted. A growing community whose doors are open to all who wish to join their pursuits, to learn and grow together, and working to share their knowledge with others.

A library, ancient, and dilapidated...It seemed to have been here, untouched, for quite a long time. With other interconnecting lairs and mysteries.....A clan once lived here, flourished even, But now they are gone, and all that remains are the ruins, and an undying source of magical energy deep in the library...

Astaris and Novaris stumbled upon this place,... And were very intrigued. They wondered about the ancient technology of the ancient arcane dragons, of those long gone.... And so they decided, this would be their home. And so, the clan was formed. And the library gained new additions over time as the clan expanded. It features books they've scavenged and found or....Stole. It also features artifacts, artwork, ancient fossils and bones, and scientific and magical specimens or inventions!
While the clan understands this place is only temporary...Even when they move out, they will still maintain this as one of Their places, another Home. How? Portals, of course! There are many rooms and connecting lairs and other places connected to the library itself, it also leads into the center of the mountain, which serves as a sort of trading hub for arcane clans within the crystalspine reaches! It's a sort of marketplace, a huge cavern! there's also many other services and places like this , here. But...Being close to it, makes them worry. They worry about dragons being nosy, hearing of an ancient library...And deciding to explore it, And invade it. They understand it is mostly paranoia, but...They've installed doors that are also warded, so those who get curious and try to explore the territory of another clan without their permission for the same of science and curiosity.... Do not get far at all.




LORE NOTES --

Fae are about the size of spirals.
Their voices are not monotone, but they are still very expressive with their frills. Their necks can be short, and or long.
Coatls can be understood by other dragons, and do not speak soley a trilling coatl tongue. Their voices are more melodic and trilling, yes, but not screeching or fierce-sounding. So they can be understood by others of dragonkind.
