The Coil Clan is a Lightning-aligned clan founded by the Lightning dragons Sweet and Sour, seeking a clan led by no dragon. Every dragon is treated with equal reverance.

Every generation of this lair has a different theme for their name, and all dragons are queer in some way. Pronouns for each dragon can be found in their broadcast message.

Many members of the Coil Clan spend their time innovating and inventing, tinkering with various pieces of scrap technology to learn how it works and make their own.

The Coil Clan believes in equality and community, and these are values that the clan holds dear. It is the very foundation of the Coil Clan, and upholding them is a central duty of the clan.

This lair does not exalt; this lair renames dragons for themes; this lair does not sell dragons. Please do not request to buy or adopt my dragons, and please don't ask me to exalt them.

The Coil Clan was founded by Sweet and Sour, two dragons, who had both become lone wanderers of the Shifting Expanse. As Sweet carved out a space for her new lair, she was greeted by Sour.

Coil Clan dragons are usually a member of at least one faction (eg, Scout or Apothecary). Although possible, most Coil Clan dragons do not ever change their faction.
