Academy of the Sundial Shadow is a small institution for the enlightenment of young dragons. Renowned in the light realms for a pursuit of history and philosophy combined with basic physical training, it has provided many hatchlings with education before they go to further their studies with the Lightweaver.

The Academy was founded mostly as a side-effect of needing to occupy the thirst for knowledge of a growing numbers of younglings taken in by a pair of part-time fighters and a mage. However, it has since lured in scholars from nearly every element. Many of the younglings first taken in have themselves grown up and followed the call of teaching as the Academy grows ever larger.

This was definitely not what Madeia, Tadrae and Caelys were expecting when they brought in those first hatchlings. Despite the the chaos that inevitably arises from maturing hatchlings and knowledge in close quarters, they would not change it for anything.
