Rubellite Delta

A lonely corner of the northeastern Crystalspine Reaches, sharing borders with Plague and Earth. Many travel through here, but few stay for long; those that do are often running from something.

The Rubellite Delta was once a bustling mercantile center, with sailing ships taking cargo from Focal Point and the Oculus of the Eleven to trade routes in Dragonhome. However, the shallow, tumultuous waters of the Delta often make for dangerous sailing, and new treaties granting access to overland trade routes in Plague territory have led to the decline of shipping in the Delta. Now, only a few ships come through each year.

Acuity Ridge Clan

A small but close-knit clan founded by Rimaye (a strong-willed mirror from the Astrolodome) and Luther (a softhearted tundra mage with a penchant for picking up strays). They've built their home on Acuity Ridge, a crescent-shaped isle whose curved shape shelters a sandy beach, a grove of Starwood birch, and a band of determined young dragons standing together in the face of shifting elements.

Starry Night Inn

A cozy wooden building on the face of a crystal mountain leads into grand halls and elegant rooms carved into the cliffside. The only waystop from Inkscry in the south to Dragonhome in the north, in the Delta's heyday it played host to hundreds of sailors, merchants, and wealthy travelers. Now it mostly houses ghosts, soldiers traveling to the border outpost, the occasional researcher, and a motley little family of odd-but-friendly staff.
