» Origins «

The GOLD BLOOD ROSE goes back to ancient times. They were one of the first clans established. It was widely known that their blood carried abilities that would match each new hatchling once they had been given their spirit name by their familiars. It wasn't known when the familiars gave these names but when they did, it was celebrated with a week-long gathering by the family and other clans who allied in protecting the precious gift the family had. The name GOLD BLOOD refers to the flakes of gold found in the gifted family's blood.

Due to war against rebels who played with dark magic a lot of the GOLD BLOODS were killed. It was like a dark ick spreading across the land and it took over anything living. It consumed a third of the population of all regions before the GOLD BLOODS found a way to sacrifice themselves and use the magic in their blood and bond with their families to trap and contain the black ick. This was recorded in history as one of the greatest sacrifices made in history. Some dragons appreciated the work of the clan while others were wary and doubtful that such powerful beings were here just to help.

Eventually the birth of a dragon named Demona and her twin brother Falak came and passed. During their upbringing they were known for causing trouble it began with small things like theft and causing havoc with the livestock but soon grew to more pressing issues. The Flamcallers and the Stormcatchers were already in rivalry with the Shadow binders and Archanists, nothing major would occur just intense disagreement in almost everything which would cause considerable tension between the lot. Demona and Falak decided to take things into their own hands after listening in on one of the elders' meetings. They had intended to teach the FLamecallers a lesson and by doing so had almost brought their bloodline to an end. They
destroyed their crops and supplies. Any relics were stolen and written works were either at the bottom of the Tidelord waters that divided the two nations or stashed with the relics. As punishment Falak watched Demona burn with the rest of his family. He hadn't realised that his sister was still alive watching the scene of their burning home and land.
