When you open the gear to enlarge the lair, look at the dragons before if you look you can see that it has a moon, you just press the moon and select the hibernal tab and that's it, that's how you send dragons to hibernate.

as an added note, i recommend checking out the "raffles and giveaways" forums - there are lots of people who give away dragons for free, especially to newbies :D

hello there! other than breeding, the main way of getting more dragons is to buy/trade them from other players, either through the auction house (left, under "shop") or through the forums (under "library"). otherwise, unhatched eggs from scavenging/coli!
