The world is a harsh place. Those who reside in Aeglesia know this very well, better than most. The Founders of this sanctuary came together with this common understanding and only wished for one thing: The creation of a refuge hidden away from the innate cruelty within all creatures. Against the cliffside of the Sunbeam Ruins resides a dazzling cavern dug out by the determined claws of The Founders. Here, you can find safety and comfort.

Upon initial entry to the east, one is greeted with the sight of a glorious glimmering gemstone in the dead center of the cave. It is warm to the touch, much like the feeling of a gentle campfire on a cool autumn night, and illuminates the whole cavern with it radiance. Dragons of all kinds wander the cavern, napping by the gemstone or perusing the various books and artifacts the inhabitants of Aeglesia have collected over the many years kept on the northern wall. Egg shelves line the southern wall, far up to keep precious eggs away from the traffic below.

Weary or injured travelers are tended to in a separate cavern dug out in the western, and furthermost, wall. Everyone is welcome to stay and rest while in Aeglesia, the inhabitants dedicate themselves to your care.. So long as you share a fact or two with them.

The only permanent residents of Aeglesia are Imperial dragons, seduced by the dedication of their peers and the extensive museum of relics, books, and knowledge to be found within. While most Imperials prefer to be apart, the Imperial dragons found within Aeglesia are anomalies who desire the security within numbers and the mental stimulation of conversing with another. This is due to The Founders being Arcane born, naturally curious and desiring the unknown that can only come from another being.

Others are visitors, travelers, merchants, or dragons brought back from the edge of death.. What is your intention in visiting, if may I ask?
