The Twin Rivers Clan

Swift, a orphan guardian from Churnscar Wharf, tired of providing services to clan dragons when her own chance of starting a clan became less by the day and Merak, a male guardian of royal bloodline, sick of the dark practices done by the clan living where the Driftwood drag, Blight sanctum and Sea of a thousand currents met. Two dragons of very different origins had the very same dream: a prosperous clan living free in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

They both traveled to Flotsam Town, hoping to find a mate to start a clan with, thought both were rather old to find a mate for the first time. They met and decided to work together.

They did not originally plan to become mates, but they did, and created a small clan by Fishspine reef. Merak and Swift found more lone dragons to join them, Clearpearl and Constellation. They lived in "caves" within the coral formations and hollow skulls of the ancient sea creatures. They discovered air pockets that could be used to dry foods and talk to hatchlings who did not already know how to write or had not yet learnt the complicated talon, wing, tail and head signals, the two main ways of communicating in their clan. Swift wove seaweed and fish skins through the rib bones to create more hollow spaces. They became rather skilled filtering water into air with magic. Divine and Grace, Swift and Merak's hatchlings spend time with Lyra and Pearldancer, Constellation's hatchlings. They lived happily for a long time. Pearldancer and Divine become close friends as well as Grace and Lyra. Swift and Merak used their resources wisely and maintained both a peaceful relationship with all other beings in the area and a good reputation. The small clan created a truly prosperous life among the fish, worshiping the Tide Lord... Until tragedy.

One night, an invasion of Plague, Lightning and Shadow dragons shatter the peaceful serenity. Each element came in waves. Plague poisoned the water with sickness that they were immune to, Lightning sent shocks through the water that, though they felt little more than an uncomfortable tingling, sent painful shocks through the water dragons. Shadow darkened the water so that the water flight dragons, that could normally see so well in dark water were now blind to their attackers. Several lone rouge dragons came to help the defenseless clan.
All were killed.

The small families escaped, fleeing to the farthest and most remote place they could. The Frigid Floes. And there they stayed. They detested the fact that they were now in the territory of the IceWarden, but it was the next best place for them. Arcane would put them to near to Merak's old family, Wind was not far enough away and not much water there, they did not like the heat from the Fire, they hated Plague, Nature had too many bright colors and too many optimistic dragons for their liking, they did not like the absence of water in Earth or Light and though they liked Lightning and Shadow, they had no idea if the attackers had been ordered to wipe out the Fishspine clans and were welcome there or if they were exiles acting of their own accord. So there they went. Ice had a nice amount of water, not to many dragons and lots of fish to catch and eat. Now they live in the Frigid Floes and have expanded their clan by many, though still mourning the life they had once had and could have had forever.

They lost many dragons.
ClearPearl refused to live in Ice and went back to Water, hoping to find some old friends. Merak had been captured and although the Ice flight helped them get him back, as a cruel price for losing several loyal Ice dragons and taking them into the Ice flight, they were ordered to exalt both Merak and Grace to the IceWarden. Lyra joined them.

Now Divine is the leader with Pearldancer as her mate and a daughter named Spirituall. Spirituall has Starswirl as her mate and daughters.
