Munmun's Clan

When darkness falls as the sun hides her face
And the pale moon hangs above in her place

When the traveller’s eyes become dim like the dead
And there is no choice but to lay down their head

When sun shines to warn them of coming day
And they wake up and find they have lost their way

Is when fear takes one traveller, and they run away
And the other finds that they wish to stay.

This is the story of the dragons who were the first of the clan. Leanna and her sister were leaving their parent's home, and going out to find their own place to live.

They had gotten lost, and when they woke up in the morning, the path was nowhere to be found. Leanna's sister panicked and flew away to try and find her way back; No one knows what happened to her.

But Leanna decided she wanted to stay. She got married to another pearlcatcher named Ahava, and she and he were the start of the clan.

They grew in power to the point where they were able to easily capture the neighboring clan, who wouldn't stop bothering them.
They asked the leader to agree to leave them in peace, and instead got the even better invitation to merge their clans into one. And so Leanna's clan took over the other one, and they have had years of peace ever since.
