TRADITION:
The Dragons Of The Bubbling Pools
All able bodied dragons of age must fight and hunt, regardless of rank or skill. They also share the responsibility of teaching the Young Bloods. A leader chooses a successor at the moment they are appointed. This successor has no help in learning to lead, but upon the old leader's death or retirement, they discover that the leader's den contains a "bubbling pool" as the dragons call them. However, unlike the normal ones, it is not filled with acid but boiling water, and in it lives an immortal sprite that advises every leader. To become a Scarred One, a Young Blood must spend a night alone outside of the tribe's lair.
