Undersketch's Clan

[You located the leather-bound journal in a library within the kingdom. The book had definitely seen better days, with a damaged cover and more than a few tattered pages within. However, the first page is still mostly intact...]

Should you be reading this, perhaps the worst has happened to me. Or perhaps I have simply lost this journal. My name is Halley King, an apprentice to Marianne Avaritia, Sorceress, within the Kingdom of Tenebris. I have discovered what I believe to be a dragon egg on one of my walks outside of the kingdom. And, as I have seen no parents for several days, I am going to try and hatch and raise it myself. Consider this the journey of my attempt to start a dragon clan of my own. Perhaps I will succeed. Perhaps I will not. And perhaps this journal will contain my journey.

To you who finds this journal, I only have one request. Even if I'm alive, and you must report me to the Tenebran Guard for my interactions with dragons, allow my clan to prosper, should it exist still. They are but creatures who fear humans just as much as we fear them.
