As you rush through the barren sands and stone, you reach an oasis of sorts. A river with clear water runs through it, mountains with an assortment of dens looming.
As plentiful as prey seems, and as much space as there is- You notice dragons with wounds from battle, and many fighting over scraps of food. Young are quickly ushered to a den by their mothers, and most seem to be hiding.
It seems as if the river was recent, by how shallow and wide it is.
By the barren surroundings, its easy to assume a majority of the adults have faced hardships. By the messy furs and feathers, this conclusion is the best you have.
But you notice a large cavern toward the top of the mountain, adorned with gold and silvers. A grey female meets your distant stare from the top, before dismissively heading deeper into the gorgeous den.
