⍺:dragons I won't sell;
φ:not sure what I'll do with these;
Ω:dragons I will eventually sell/exalt.
Very fond of Guardians, Mirrors, Skydancers and Gaolers; which are luckily enough very easy to acquire and have, considerably, short breeding cooldowns, although, that seems to be true to almost every dragon species here.
I’m not very serious about this, so no clear objectives.
I was very sure when I first joined FR that I wouldn’t write any lore, but, alas, my writer brain loves to spit my words back at me and call me a hypocrite.
Call me Nox and... Oh! English is not my first language so if you’re a visitor of my humble lair/page and happens to spot a spelling or grammatical mistake please do tell me.
The Tenebri Clan
Founder/Leader: Volkes
Consists mostly of warriors who flock to each other in search of strength and stability, they defend their small territory in their own intense manner (other clans call them savages, but as you can expect it’s not a very popular description within Tenebri).
The members of this shadow clan enjoy casual competition and the occasional brawl that often turns violent.
These dragons have a strong connection to the land they inhabit together, not for a very naturalistic reason, dare I say, it’s more likely to be a possessive: “The world owns us everything, so we will take as we see fit” reasoning.
The clan divides itself into ‘Lines’ that are born and die as Volkes sees fit, as of right now there can only be one line per species given the size of the clan, but that’s bound to change. The Lines are an interesting way of assigning roles to the diverse members of Tenebri creating a complex internal political climate.
The Line of the Wolf
Patriarch: Volkes
The guardian line, the oldest and most numerous one in the clan, because of these facts this line has a specially competitive and hostile environment to newcomers. Surprisingly, the potential gaoler line appears to have an even more cutthroat site.
Any aspiring member has to prove themselves in combat to earn the favour of the patriarch.
They are given the role of conquering new territory and defending said territory, logically only dragons skilful in combat are allowed to be given high positions in this line.
The Line of the Aposematist
Matriarch: Iluz
The mirror line, when the Tenebri Clan was at its very dawn Volkes asked his lifelong ally, Iluz, to help to establish the mirror line and therefore very reluctantly Iluz stopped her nomadic lifestyle to became the foundation of strength the young and naïve mirror dragons needed her to be.
Wolfsbane is being trained to be the new matriarch, a very eccentric dragon with promising blood that hungers to surpass her nomadic mentor.
The aposematists handle hunting and ambushes in enemy territory.
The Line of the Sparrowhawk
Matriarch: Falax
The newest skydancer line, an unexpected group sees it birth when Falax and her partner boldly demand to join the Tenebri Clan, well… not exactly, the line has only recently been given its name, but it was a given Falax would receive her own line. The matriarch natural inclination to exceed in the magical field gave her the upper hand coupled with her skydancer ability to solve conflict; the Tenebri leader could see how the Sparrowhawk Line would be the glue to keep the clan together.
This line solves strife, both internal and external, the clan can’t afford to fight it out or doesn’t have the power to solve through sheer force (two different things I assure you); it also handles all the magical matters, since the other lines don’t seem very inclined to master magic in any way over the combat skill.
This line has earned the respect for its magical members in the clan through Falax skill.
The Gaolers Line?
Murky, too much internal conflict for anything to swim to the surface just yet.
