Venerable Lair

"alive, untamed, all-seeing"
You’ve been wandering the Hewn City for hours now, lost within its towering structures. You were originally drawn to these ruins for their mysterious past; perhaps treasures could be found in its fallen buildings? Shadows creep at the corner of your vision yet when you turn, there is nothing to be found.
Trotting into a collapsed building, you find something shining in the dark rubble. A conch shell reflects a stray beam of light. Entranced, you run a claw up the side of the conch. It could fit perfectly in the palm of a mirror dragon (or similar sized dragons) paws. Perhaps a wanderer like yourself had dropped it?
You pull your claw away, and your vision blacks out as stars dance behind your eyes. All of a sudden, you cannot breathe; it feels like water is being sucked into your lungs. When your vision comes back to you, the oppressive drowning feeling is gone, like it was never there to begin with. You realize you are no longer in the lost city.
Warm sunlight shines from above, the chirping of birds and insects fill the air. You seem to be in a room of white stone. Stained glass windows depiction dancing waves and vibrant fish. You make sure you are in one piece before you find an exit and leave the building.
If you thought the room you were in was impressive, it's nothing compared to the landscape you find yourself in. It seems like you were transported to a whole different world. Limestone tiles lead you through a pristine water garden with leaping fish and glistening fruits. Not before long you find white buildings with the same stained glass (sea glass?) windows.
It seems to be a bustling marketplace, most of the dragons don’t spare you a second glance. Many seem to look like travelers such as yourself. Wherever that conch brought you, it seems to be a flourishing kingdom. Maybe you can find some answers here?
