After the stars doth cross the heavens,
The sky in the East doth darken and air doth fill with mourning.
From the chosen land beyond the forest, a sign of the wave comes.

Merely referring to themselves as 'The Augury", this band of dragons has grown slowly over time, moving ever closer to the heart of the Scarred Wasteland. The dragons that populate this group are as different from one another as can be, but all are ruthless and cunning, and each seems to hold some secret that has driven from the rest of their kind into the harsh embrace of Thresh.
However, all of them seem to be preparing for something, as if they are aware of some event in the near future that could change everything.

The entrance to the lair itself is a gaping hole in the earth, surrounded by jagged rocks and broken bones. Most of the lair lies under the ground of the Rotrock Rim, a tangle of twisting tunnels that branch off of one another in a confusing and disorienting mess, a nearly impossible thing to navigate if you do not know where you are going.

However, if any come uninvited, they will be met with several unpleasant surprises, for the denizens of this lair are even more distressing and inhospitable than the land they live in.

The clan, though at first glance seems divided, is nevertheless united under the cruel gaze of its matriarch, Thresh.
Peace, however, is rarely found in the clan, for Thresh is often absent, only sending word with the new members that she finds throughout the land. Under Mephitis a tenuous balance has been found in her absence, though it is always on the brink of failing.
Helba and Apeiron constantly bicker for dominance, though are united against any moves for power by other members of the clan. The tenuous peace is disrupted by the wandering priest, Salvationis who brings with them words of Armageddon and destruction. Tamat is more than happy to spread words of terror and fear, and Nomos is there to repair the damage done by the more temperamental of the clan.
