The Cult of Aracene

Aracene: an ancient goddess of the cycle of life from before the time of common dragons. Mythos says she welcomes all dragons, as long as they value all parts of life: even the less pleasant ones. She will help those who follow her, but only if they are willing to accept their actions as their own, as well as the consequences thereof. Finding spiders and rotting meat is often a sign she is watching over you.

Deep within the twisting Murkbarrow Grove, a once-buried shrine depicting spiders and storms and creeping vegetation is well-protected by the dragons of The Cult of Aracene. Together, her followers worship and revere her, bringing offerings of food and valuables to bless their clan. While the rooms near the entrance are kept clean and tidy, rooms closer to the original shrine are left to collect dust; cracks in the walls seem to breathe with spiderwebs, and vines spread their roots into puddles of dripping water on the floor. Old offerings are scattered, half-eaten by bugs.
