There were wormholes everywhere. The members of the Virus family and their cult wanted this universe to be destroyed as their final sacrifice to an unknown deity. They summoned them. It absorbed everything. Dragons,beastclan or anything. All got sucked in.

The Warp Armageddon

That's what Pauline Winters called this. She dreamed of this as a warning. She shared it to her fellow mobsters. Hilda, who is a time traveller, wanted to save them all. However her time machine can't fit all. She has to save a few.

She saved nine important dragons, including by letting them in her time machine. She was sorry for the rest of them.

At the other side, The Valakarians were more prepared for this event. They had multiple time machines. All of them got in before the wormhole absorbed them. Also, Felicita and her companion, Journal got in their time machine.

The original universe is now destroyed. But they have hopes.

The two sides of time travelers landed in an alternative universe. It is where everything is the same as the original universe except for few things.

Another apocalypse happens in the same alternative universe. This time, a destructive tune played. The music reached into ears of millions and all of them mysteriously disappeared. Only few of them are immune to this. Its origin is unknown.

A band called Rotting Skulls and their associates were those people. They watched as their neighbors and their fans disappeared. Hilda told them, "Hey, let's move out of here!"

All of them joined Hilda's journey to travel to find another universe to live in.

This time, the universe is different on what they used to.

1980's SF Bay Area, California

The technology is more advanced (or less advanced according to the Valakarians) than what they used to. Rarely appeared are the supernatural creatures, something common in their universe. Magic is not a norm in this place. The places are more urbanized. The survivors had to adapt. They have to hide their supernatural identity and magic. They lived together in an apartment while Hilda lives at her house. Hilda was their band's manager.

Rotting Skulls had their own day jobs and played gigs at night. They needed money to survive in this unfamiliar place. In 1981, they recorded their first demos under the band name "Bleed". Their tapes had been traded around the area until a call from an record label arrived to them.

"Hello?", Monty answered the phone
"This is Chronochasm Records. We are an independent label that only looks for extreme metal bands. We heard your music through your demo tapes and researched more about your band. We would be happy to sign you guys."
"Well, sure why not?"
