If I buy a dragon off of the Auction House, it's because I thought they were super cute and I wanted to try breeding them with some of my babies. If they don't work out, I always make sure to breed them anyway before exalting them (but I normally keep them for a while anyway). That or I will attempt to gift them or their children to a friend just to keep the breeding line going :3

Normally, I just exalt any of the baby dragons I breed that I don't like, but if I put them up in the auction house I always name them. Sorry if you don't like the randomly generated name, but I do it so that if someone exalts them they don't show up as Unnamed in the parent's Offspring category. It just looks nicer when all the dragon's are named.
