Clan Stormwake
Dragons of the Stormwake customarily have two names; one of which is their 'true name,' taken on in adulthood and which generally refers to some ideal or aspiration, commonly from Gaian (human) myth (e.g. Hermes, Agni, Samhain), and the other of which is their 'common name,' which tends to be much shorter and simpler (e.g. Sai, Hale), sometimes descriptive (e.g. Shrike, Gale), and is what most dragons actually go by.
To paraphrase my gf's reaction to it: 'yes hello, this is my elder god name, but you can call me Steve.'
Unnamed exalts will be named Ambrosia or Amrita ('immortality' in Ancient Greek and Sanskrit respectively; refers to the food or drink of the Greek gods [Ambrosia] or of the devas [Amrita]).

('Stormwake' both bc it sounds cool imo and also bc I started out in Lightning, so my clan is after the storm, i.e. in the wake of the storm)

Currently having a really bad obsession with fire-range trail/fire-range opal+cap imps.

I'm massively socially awkward so I might be slow at responding to messages despite being active (feeding my dragons etc). I also have ADHD and tend to be bad at reading social cues and have no filter so uh, please tell me to shut up if I'm being annoying/rambley.

I totally see where your coming from. Oof I just came from a parent teacher confrence lmao. I got all this stuff about how i think differently and whatnot, but eh. I got a’s, so thats all that really matters to me honestly.

Just because we learn differently doesnt make us inferior to anyone else- I treat it like a superpower that allows me to see another dimension.

And then people started treating me like a kid. I was always brought up to love my quirks and qualities- Especially my ADHD- since it was a peice of who I am. I do talk alot, though, which drives away lots of people. (Exhibit A- Your profile)

To be honest, I have a really playful nature, while in middle school is not something that is appreciated much. Add on my excitedness of learning and BAM- You get a weirdo who doesnt fit into any social groups. My class found out abt my ADHD over a project

The tricky part is is that I think of ADHD as more of a blessing while much of society thinks of it as a curse. With ADHD, I make connections between knowledge 99% faster than most of my classmates- I think of ADHD as,like, a fourth dimension of thinking

Dont worry about it! I was diagnosed with it, like, 7 years ago or something, so Ive known about it for quite a while. I consider myself definatly an extrovert, and I am pretty good socially and I can make freinds easily.

Im pretty good socially but the minute someone finds out abt ADHD- POOF all my freinds are gone, ppl treat me like im a toddler, and everyone moves to the other side of the room when i sit down
