The clan of Othimerax started as just a small cave home for a Guardian, Desrith, and his charge and mate, Agyroese, where they could hatch and raise their children in peace. However, as time went on, the two saw many lone wyrms wandering past their home in search of their own, and decided to open the doors for the wanderers they had been seeing, and thus ended up founding their own clan. Of course, just like with every new society, there were bumps in the road, and Desrith, newly crowned king, struggled to keep everything running smoothly. As more dragons came to live in their growing cave, some sought to take Desrith's place for themselves. Fortunately, those loyal to Desrith and Agyroese far outnumbered those who opposed him, and the threat of usurpation was eliminated before much damage was done. For a long while after that, things were quiet as the clan continued to grow with both wanderers and hatchlings. What no one could have suspected though, was that two of the wanderers that came to the clan would be the heralds of something far greater, and far more destructive, than the few mutinous wyrms that had been taken care of before. ~~More Inside Lair~~
