SucculentSucc's Clan
Clan Info
The Beastclans have struggled to survive for generations since the fall of their reign and the rise of the dragons. Though they've formed small civilizations and even helped other species to evolve into official Beastclan categories (including the Mith, Goblins, Dryads and Nymphs), they have still, despite their growing strength in such a cruel world, suffered greatly at the hands of it. But now, things are getting even tougher.
Plaguebringer, the ethereal patron of the Plague clan, is slowly being forsaken, becoming seen as more evil and vile than powerful and (tyrannically) fair, as she once was. Those who once worshipped her are leaving, finding more caring and gentle patrons, who care more for peace and unity than disease and decay. She, feeling betrayed and abandoned, has released a doomsday plague unto the world. A plague rendered untreatable and as cruel and savage as Plaguebringer herself. Most about the plague is unknown, aside from that it is believed to have originated from those who resided alongside the Wyrmwound. In retaliation to her betrayal, the plague was designed to wipe out Beastclan and dragon alike, though it only seems that dragons can contract it.
The plague has desecrated the land as a result of the diseased dragons rampaging, and almost a fourth of the dragon population has been infected. The Beastclans are dying quickly, and as a result, they've decided that war amongst themselves is no longer the answer: they must band together to survive, and, even better, find a way to ally themselves with the remaining dragons. But dragons are savage beasts, animals. Taming them is near impossible, that is, until a young Longneck discovers the key to doing so.
Now, as a united clan, they must not only find a way to survive, but also to govern themselves and to fully, universally become a friend of dragon instead of foe.
[Disclaimer: I have nothing against the plague flight it just seemed that the circumstances presented in the United Clan's plot were the most logical in terms of the birth of the virus]
