Far off, in the Daylight Sanctum lies Sunclan.
Founded by Lightspirit, a lone dragon who had searched for a place to call her own. With her mate Oceanblaze, the two formed a secure, safe Clan to house any and all dragons willing to pledge themselves to serve the Clan and their deity.

MoonClan has settled across the border in the Tangled Wood. Tensions are high with the opposing clans. What does Shadowspirit plan to do with his newfound leadership?

Each full moon, the two clans meet at Pine Island to share news amongst themselves during a one-night truce.

ROLES

Leader
Given the title "Spirit" as a name suffix, this dragon is in charge of absolutely everything clan-related. Often seen as a sovereign, and highly respected.

- Leaders are given 3 lives (1 for courage, 1 for power, and 1 for leadership)
- It's a common elder's tale that a leader's bloodline is destined to continue leading the Clan

Regent
The regent is the leader's right-hand assistant. If the leader is ill, absent, or killed, the regent will assume their responsibilities and will be the future leader.

Matriarch
The matriarch is the overseer of mothers and hatchlings. If any orphaned hatchlings or eggs are taken in, she will be their mother.

Herbalist
One of the most important roles in the Clan. The herbalist is in charge of healing and keeping the Clan healthy. There can be up to two Herbalists in a Clan, and once a dragon commits to this role, they are forbidden from nursing hatchlings of their own.

Warriors
A fledgling can become a warrior when they reach 6 weeks old, thus receiving their third and final name by their leader.
The main power within the Clan. Defenders, attackers, and dragons with other battle skills use their talents to protect their clanmates from harm.

Seekers
A fledgling can become a seeker when they reach 6 weeks old, thus receiving their third and final name by their leader.
The dragons responsible for hunting, digging and scavenging. Seekers are given the most responsibility in the Clan.

Fledglings
A hatchling becomes a fledgling when they reach 5 days old.
Given the title "Scale" as a name suffix, these apprentices are trained under either a seeker or a warrior to become the said role. Fledglings are given their mentor depending on their most dominant skill, combat, or gathering.

Queens
A dragoness expecting a clutch of eggs is deemed a queen until her eggs are hatched and her offspring are old enough to be trained.

Hatchlings
Given the title "Wisp" as a suffix, newborn dragons live under their mother's wing in the hatchery until they reach 5 days old.
