AquirraTheWind's Clan
Sometimes here, Sometimes not...
Clan Info
Heads-up for devs: I connect to FR through phone and laptop. I also share IP with Aquarria and Sapphirra, but we are different people.
English is not my native language, so forgive me if anything sounds wrong/weird. Feedback on lore is appreciated.
Don't be afraid to send me a friend request or a message if necessary.
Welcome to the Amara clan, one of the ardent fighters of the Shade.
Originally a ragtag group of misfits from all over the Sornieth, the clan persevered through all the challenges hurled at it by fate - from roaming the Frigid Floes on empty stomach and being driven away by clans of Snowsquall Tundra to painstakingly carving a place for themselves in the north-eastern part of Cloudscrape Crags that curl inward the landmass, and holding fast to this day (albeit low in numbers - for reasons).
As most of the clan members are from flights other than Ice there is no particular god they worship; rather, they still revere their respective deities but more than that they believe in their leader (even if her thoughts sometimes sound outlandish) and their own strength. The clan's creed is 'Do your duty, hope for the best and prepare for the worst' which may sound strange, considering that the clanmates are always ready to fight tooth and claw for each other. But that is one of the clan's major traits: destroying stereotypes and confounding expectations.
Another prominent trait is being distrustful of strangers, which may well go against the clan's origins, but this is coming from collective experience - previous experiences from travelling the world, Snowsquall Tundra situation and having lethal secrets to keep have all taught the Amara to choose their allies wisely. Should the clan members come across some errant soul in their territory, the guest will be escorted to the closest border if the weather allows it, otherwise they will be led to the lair to wait for the storm to settle. During this time they will be given food and a place to sleep if necessary, but first of all they will be questioned. Gently. Matriarch Kethavel happens to be an excellent judge of character - she has not been mistaken even once to this day.
If one manages to earn the clan's trust, the Matriarch will officially pronounce them a friend. Being a friend here essentially means becoming one with the family, which comes with significant benefits: being able to move around the territory and most of the lair freely on their own (though official permission should be granted and an NDA should be signed beforehand to visit the restricted section of the library, observatory and the Athamant headquarters), having access to most of the lair's facilities for personal use and being able to vote in times of difficult decisions.
However, should anyone ever exploit the Amara's hospitality, while the clan prefers to deal with problems through diplomacy, they do not eschew using force when necessary - the Matriarch has sufficient tools to keep the deserters silent.
