As you traverse the promenade...

You come across an island that sits over the north edge of the mainland... at first glance it seems to be a mist-filled grove. Then, a flick of color as your eyes adjust. The mist dissipates, the trees bowing low to the ground, revealing the city walls. The trees start to slither towards you, intertwining as they stretch over the water. You take a step back as they reach the shore and take root, forming a bridge. The nearby cluster of water lilies shifts into an imperial with striking blue eyes. They bow their head towards you. A kind, sweet, lulling voice fills your head.
