Then two more. Then three after that, until there are more than forty. It's grown, it's thriving, it's safe. But there are weeds. There are thorns. Nature is powerful and unpredictable. Here, claws have to be sharpened. Underneath the welcoming foliage is a mosaic of dark snake skin. The one with glowing blue eyes clutches them tightly and doesn't look anyone directly in the eyes.
