The chief feared that magic and knowledge would not be enough to save their clan that was in constant battle with the creatures. When the Chief stepped down he angered not just the son but Durza. The chief had let it slip that he planned to mix other Dragon races with the Fae to create the ultimate dragon. Durza took with him his mate, the true heir of the clan and his mate. The four of them left and found a place all their own. Now the Haunting Amber Fae Clan is strongly Fae. They will help others in need but only Fae are truly welcomed with open arms.
