In this haunted grove nymphs and faeries dance at night. As the sun fades each slips out from the leaves and branches of the plants they inhabit to go about their unearthly business.

Some among them seem wicked, others merely playful, but all abide by the law of the Seelie Court. Intricate rules and rituals bind their every word. They harbor neither malice nor fondness for mortal beings.

Learn the steps of their dances, answer their riddles with wit and candor, and you may escape to see the sun rise yet again. Linger too long, and learn too many of their secrets, and you may risk fading into the leaves come dawn along with the rest.

Unseelie Court

Along the glade where the Seelie Queen holds court, there is a dark and glassy pond. Beneath its surface a very different Faerie Queen presides. Capricious, chaotic, and seemingly malevolent, they may appear in stark contrast to their counterparts above the surface. Would that it were so simple.

Strange, tremulous music they dance to in their eerie way, while engaged in courtly dramas and politics too intricate for mortal understanding. The laws that seem to bind are warped, and trickery is custom. Give them not your name, eat not of their fruits, and dance not their somber waltz. Unless it is your wish to sway eternally in the water's dark embrace.
