The great council had gathered, and waited then with a watchful eye, for news from the seer, Smallspirit. She sat upon the ground, far below the high thrones of the Concilium, eyes closed, her aura glowing so that even those without spirit magic could see.

Deep within the reaches, a shimmering gateway lies tucked away from view. Golden light spills from the opening and curls into the mist. Here is an old and nearly forgotten place, a world apart, where the machinations still churn as they always have and always will. In fact, once inside, it seems that the passage of time has not touched this place.

They are welcoming here, intrigued by the Beyond. They ask for stories and share their own, but they do not wish to leave. Neither do you, really. You're not sure how long you've been here, when you would go, what you had been searching for. How odd.
