All I know is Ezio and Altair so I can't really start picking favorites yet since I love them both XD But since I'm also a fan of the Hamilton musical I'm really excited to see AC3 during that time period~
I like playing game series in order, so I started from the first with Altair all the way up to starting Revelations about a few days ago. AC3 is next on my to-do list!
I just wanted to say that I started the AC series earlier this year (currently on Revelations) and am loving it, so I freaked out happily when I saw your username!

Oof I hear ya there. New ones definitely are a lot different, it does feel like a separate game but that doesnt mean they're not enjoyable! They're more choice-based now, both in story and character. Not too far into odyssey but im enjoying it so far!
Seeing your username in my thread brought back fond memories haha, I loved assassins creed 2! Have you played any of the newer ones? It's changed such a lot. I'm currently working my way through odyssey and thinking about doing some fandragons.
Ezio is amazing but we all know Altair is the best ;)
