The Heartblood Clan
The Heartblood Clan was founded by Mother Superior Heartstrings, and her mate Nicholas as a home for wayward or lost dragons. Part tavern/hostel part orphanage the Heartblood Clan welcomes all who made need a home, whether it be temporary or more long term. Known for her stoic, but kind attitude and wise advice, MS Heartstrings strives to ensure that all dragons in her care are safe and cared for.
Below the surface though the Heartblood Clan has a less reputable reputation. Those in the know have another name for Mother Superior Hearstrings, Blood Mother. In her quest to ensure that those in her care remain safe and secure, Heartstrings has been accused (not to her face, or where she or anyone who knows her might be able to over hear, of course) of assassination, thievery, and other less reputable actions. Whether these rumors are justified is unknown, though some have pointed to the near fanatical nature with which many of her chargers speak about her, as a sign that more is happening under the surface of the Heartblood clan.
Is Mother Superior exactly what she seems to be? A kind old dragon trying to do some good in a dark and tumultuous world. Or is that just the disguise she uses to fool onlookers? Is she really a twisted cult leader training her own personal army?
